Hey hi hello

I'm Amanda—a Boston-based designer who loves building beautiful, intuitive digital experiences that actually work for people. By day I'm a Senior Web & UI Designer at EF Education First, by night I'm probably reading, making ceramics, or stopping to pet every dog I pass on the street.

What i do

Design is most effective when it's functional, strategic, and beautiful. Here's where I focus my energy:

UX & UI Design

User research / Wireframing & prototyping / Interface design / Usability testing / Responsive design

Branding

Brand identity / Visual design / Design systems / Style guides

Web design

Information architecture / Component libraries / Landing pages / Design-to-dev handoff

Kind words

"Amanda is our in-house expert on all things Figma, driving best practices across email, web, and other templates/how-tos as well as file organization in the program. She’s a clear, confident communicator of her systems and has the ability to communicate with and teach other designers in a way that is digestible and non-intimidating, making her a reliable go-to team member."

Creative Director at EF Education First

"Amanda is strong when it comes to business acumen and problem-solving skills. She has a broad baseline of knowledge about our customer journey and a strong inclination to ground her work in metrics and numbers."

Colleague at EF Education First

"She's the rare person who can think outside the box in a way that brings others along and can be scaled for maximum impact. This is a credit to both her skills as a designer as well as her willingness to collaborate across teams to create the best possible work."

Creative Director at EF Education First

"Amanda is an incredibly talented designer and strategic thinker. She has been the lead designer on the ET website refresh and has been pushing the limits to have us think differently about how we present our product and brand on the website. Her innovative thinking and designs has also pushed the engineers to uncover new capabilities or create them so that her brilliant designs can come to life."
